Hello! My name is Esmeralda, and I’m the creator behind Creaturalda—a blend of “creature” and my name.

I love bringing art dolls to life. To me, they’re the closest thing to adopting a real little creature of your own. Each one is carefully handmade with an internal skeleton of aluminum or plastic, making them fully poseable and full of personality.

I first learned to make art dolls in 2019, during a six-month stay in Finland. There, I was trained in creating stop-motion puppets—a craft that closely relates to what I do now. A friend and I quickly became obsessed, spending countless weekends in the workshop experimenting and creating all kinds of characters.

I’ve always been fascinated by creatures of all kinds—from modern animals to the wonders of evolution. Dinosaurs are a particular favorite of mine, but truly, every creature has its charm! I also studied at an art academy, where I developed my skills in painting and drawing.

Creaturalda is my creative world—where imagination, craftsmanship, and a love for creatures come together.
